Questions: What do you think makes Henry T Waskow a hero, and what parts of his life make him an ordinary person like we are?

I think Henry T Wasko is a hero because everyone above and below him in the chain of command looked up to him which could have increased morale along the frontline. He is a ordinary person because he was a lot like other people the only difference was he had a very inspiring personality.
